He is a Psychiatrist who learned the skills of diagnosing and improving depression, addiction, sleep disorders, memory problems, psychosis and childhood psychiatric disorders at Department of Psychiatry, King Georges Medical University, Lucknow .He offers both pharmacological treatment as well as counselling for the same. He is also trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
After completion of his three year training in Psychiatry, he did Senior Residency in the same Institute. He worked as Project Co-ordinator, Regional Technical Training Centre, KGMU a sub-recipient of Project Hifazat of global fund Round-9 and was bestowed with responsibility to train doctors in Injectable Drug Users (IDU) harm reduction.

He is Fellow of Indian Psychiatric Society Fellow IPS of Central Zone executive council member of Indian Medical Association Lucknow Branch and Member of Indian Member of Private Psychiatry.
